Garden Rehab| Granbury, TX
Good morning guys! Saturday was one HOT day! I decided that my garden was on the sorry side, and that I needed to freshen it up. I love gardening always have since I was little. It's so relaxing and gets me moving. Plus sun is so good for you! I've found that Working outside gives me the pick-me up I need on most days lol
Saturday I headed to Lowes to pick up some new flowers and plants for my front garden. I love Lowes, I prefer it over any of the other home improvement stores. They have great sales and super nice people. I opted to go a little earlier in the day to try and beat the crowds. As per usual at Lowes I found exactly what I was looking for not even 10 minutes in, which is a great thing!
I wanted something that could withstand this horrible Texas heat/sun. Most of my plants in the front were literally fried! No matter how much I watered them the sun was just too much. So I moved most of them to the back where I have more shade and got some new ones for the front :)
I love my little set up, and I'm planning on adding some color to it in the next week or so as well as redo the back garden! The back garden is going to be a little tricky since I have some fur babies who like to eat all my flowers lol The struggle is real guys!
I'm actually wanting to redo our whole house but financially we just can't at the moment. We are penny pinchers. We shop sales and thrift stores and try our best to push every penny as far as we can. We are minimal people so don't need much but of course we like our home to be comfortable and look cute at the same time.
Anyways before I lose track again lol we are planning on doing little rehabs in the house little by little and I'll be blogging it as we do it. I love vintage finds so I'll probably be thrifting quite often. If anyone wants to see my thrifting process and how I find such cheap finds, let me know and I'll either Vlog it or just take some pictures along the way.
